Halloween 2009
A truly spectacular event! To those who left early or missed it, I lament your loss! But fear not, for you can still participate in the final round of the event to obtain the event prizes!
Ghosts, witches, goblins; these are the first thoughts that come to mind of most Halloween-ers~! (Teehee, Halloweeners xD) GM Ridley did a fabulous job of keeping the Halloween spirit in his awesome event, cleverly hosted in Niflheim! I, for one, have always feared Niflheim, not for the horrifying monsters and spirits that surely dwell there, but for its dark and mysterious atmosphere. Ok, so it's the horrifying monsters and spirits too, but, can you blame me? It's such a scary place! Let's see you go there by yourself!
The quest starts when you talk to a Lost Lude in Prontera. If you talk to him, he will tell you that his home has been invaded~! Now, the first half of the event is over, but it was long, tedious, and loads of fun~! XD The Lost Lude warped the courageous warriors to his home in Niflheim, so that they could defeat the invading forces that chased the Ludes from their homes. There were countless monsters that fit the Halloween theme, flooding the map with their evil presence. It took a total of about three hours to defeat this monster invasion, but all of our hard work was well worth it to be able to move on to the second part of this special event!
The Ludes' home was saved, and they had all returned to Niflheim to celebrate Halloween! And BOY do Ludes know how to celebrate! Twenty four ludes were stationed outside their houses to give out candy to hopeful trick-or-treaters! But this candy was special, and I'm not going to tell you why because I don't want to spoil the surprise for anyone who hasn't completed the quest yet xD Once you've collected candy from each of the twenty four Ludes, a twenty fifth Lude waited for you to give you a very special treat that you definitely don't want to miss out on!
For those of us that frequented the event, it was a very happy Halloween!
The second part of the event will remain available for a few more days to allow anyone who has not yet done so to go and retrieve his or her special treats! Take advantage of this opportunity while you still can.
